Pigeon Point Beach - Tobago

I read on Caribbean Beat that a time long ago the area was home to wild pigeons until it made way for a coconut estate and hence the name Pigeon Point. The walk from Milford Road along Pigeon Point Road past Bago bar at Cable Bay is relaxing. The jetty is said to be one of the most photographed in the world. The beach often makes top ten lists. It is a location for weddings and photography and water sports. You pay a nominal fee to enter which goes towards the upkeep of the facilities.
